Important Information
Please read our terms, conditions and cancellation policies before booking your East Coast adventure.
There is no formal age restriction, however this tour is best suited to travellers aged 18-35. It is a backpacker-style tour that focuses on adventure and a social atmosphere, so if anyone in your party is under 18 please let us know and we can decide if this is the right tour for you. Check out our Family-Friendly tours if you're looking to bring kids or travellers over 35.
We camp at Cathedrals on Fraser, which has toilet and hot shower facilities, covered sleeping areas with tents, sleeping bags and pillows, kitchen facilities, and even a dingo fence.
Please bring only a soft day bag with your clothes and toiletries. Excess luggage can be securely stored for free at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach.
No, the tour only starts and ends in Rainbow Beach.
Yes! Please advise us upon booking if you have any allergies or dietary needs.
You have to be at least 21 years of age with a license that has been valid for at least 12 months. Driving on K'gari can be a challenge, so make sure you take it seriously and follow all the instructions given by your guide.
There are mobile-phone charging devices at the Cathedrals campsite. Note that mobile phone coverage can be spotty on the island!
It is highly recommended that you meet us at Pippies Beachhouse in Rainbow Beach before 5:30 pm the day before you depart. This is so that we can explain a few things about the tour and the island, as well as get your paperwork finished and watch a video, before our early departure the next morning. If you are unable to attend then it is very important that we know you will not be here in time so that we may organise to get all missed information to you.

It was awesome
We had Cory as our tour guide! He was amazing! Despite the weather and circumstances because of the cycloon he made the best of it for us! Food was good, sleeping situation okay!
